A documentary song about what Dan experienced when he was young and visiting his grandfather’s ranch of 160 homesteaded acres in El Mirage, California. The ranch had a small home where Arthur and Dolly raised a family of four — with two windmills, kerosene lamps, compost bed, and crops — with the wind out on the desert.
